My practice is informed by a belief that communication and commitment to peaceful solutions to conflict situations is the basis for a better society. I believe that Indigenous communities, in particular, requires a trauma-informed approach that allows understanding of an historical context.

I've completed all required courses in mediation at the Justice Institute of BC and have taken approximately 20 independent courses covering a number of areas of interest, such as managing circles in schools. I've also studied the relatively new practice of Narrative Mediation on-line.

I believe that I have expertise and aptitude for mediating with people in conflict with the law and those challenged by interpersonal conflict in employment and personal relationships.
